 The Workforce Connection is a partnership of state and federally funded

 employment and training programs, economic development agencies and

educational entities committed to providing a workforce that meets the

needs of our business community; now and in the future.

 

Providing one contact for employers to find workers and for job-seekers

to receive training, education and employment services.....


 

The Workforce Connection is located at

  • 303 N. Main Street  (the SupplyCore Building) in Rockford; 

  • 998 Belvidere Road in Belvidere

  • 27 W. Stephenson in Freeport.

Services available free of charge at The Workforce Connection offices in Rockford, Belvidere and Freeport include:

  • computer and internet access
  • job search and resume assistance
  • the latest local and national job listings
  • help with on-line job applications
  • career information, including Career Cruising
  • access to copy and fax machines, telephone and printer
  • information about job training and other educational opportunities
  • assistance for veterans and disabled workers
  • refugee and immigrant services

 Our Resource Room is open to the public Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
