SUMMER YOUTH JOBS CONNECTION

The Workforce Connection is no longer recruiting young people for the Summer Youth Jobs Connection. 

 The Workforce Connection partners are still soliciting worksites and positions from public, not-for-profit organizations in the two counties.  These positions will be subsidized “work experience” positions, designed to give the youth exposure to the working world and its requirements, while offering an opportunity for skill development and a benefit to the workplace organizations.  Youth employees are paid from the stimulus funding and are employees of Rock River Training Corporation, one of the Workforce Connection partners.

Employers interested in participating in the Summer Youth Job Connection should complete and submit the Request for 2009 Summer Youth Work EXperience Position.    Click here for request form.
