Executive Committee
The Executive Committee includes the Officers of the Board and Chairs of the other standing committees. It establishes overall policy, short and long term goals, and plans. The committee reviews quarterly progress against goals and recommends goal revisions.

Program Oversight Committee
The Program Oversight Committee oversees the local training plan related to WIA adult and dislocated worker services, oversees and approves training provider selection and evaluation, establishes performance outcomes for programs and projects, and assesses the quality of education and training provided.

Planning Committee
The Planning Committee is responsible for strategic plan development and oversight, workforce issue identification, employer needs assessment, workforce research and consumer reports, and pilot projects.

Communication Committee
The Communication Committee has the charge of developing an annual communication plan, review of communication vehicles, the review and evaluation of public relations efforts and development of marketing materials.

Organizational Development Committee
The Organizational Development Committee was formed to develop and maintain the Board succession plan through recruitment and retention strategies and to nominate a slate of officers. The committee identifies and implements Board member training opportunities. It also will oversee the operational plan for the One Stop System, life long learning process through oversight of educational linkages, and people development systems.

One Stop Partner Committee
The One-Stop Partner Committee is comprised of WIB members and non-WIB members representing the One-Stop partners of the system. The purpose of this committee is to insure all partners' input is received when developing policies that pertain to The Workforce Connection. This committee determines and implements operational improvements to address customer service and service integration

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee oversees system budget development and monitors expenditures. The committee also provides guidance for the development and maintenance of the Boone and Winnebago Counties Workforce Investment Board, Inc. as a viable non-profit corporation.

Youth Council
The Youth Council is responsible for all programming as it relates to the youth in our area. This includes the selection and evaluation of youth service providers, long term planning, and the coordination of youth services.
