Champion for Workforce Development for Over 25 Years
Einar Forsman has been a champion for workforce development for over 25 years and a long-standing Board Member of The Workforce Connection. We would like to thank Einar for his years of selfless service and contributions to our organization and the local region. We wish Einar all the best as he embarks on the next adventure!
Says Einar Forsman “I have had the opportunity to serve on the Workforce Connection Board as well as in other capacities and believe this is a critical resource for our region. Given the recent challenges in finding talent, I think the import of the Workforce Connection is that much greater. Being responsive to both job seeker and employer needs is quite a challenge and I believe the team and Board are committed to serving our region to advance our local economy. Over the past two years I have chaired the Business Engagement Communications Committee for IWIB and we have emphasized strategies to communicate the valued business services to the business community at large. Having employers understand this value is so important to their needs and in growing such an important program.”
