The Northwest Illinois Healthcare Collaborative is a group comprised of six independent healthcare organizations in Northwest Illinois working together to convey what the Northwest Illinois community and health systems offer. Collaborative members include: CGH, FHN, KSB Hospital, OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, Rockford Memorial Hospital, and SwedishAmerican Health System.
The Collaborative was formed in 2006 to collectively address the current and anticipated shortage of registered nurses in the region. The group recognized that the growing workforce shortage was beyond the ability of any one healthcare organization to address.
