Jazmine Flores successfully completed her On-The-Job Training (OJT) at Midwest Law Works where her career path is to become a Real Estate Legal Assistant. Jazmine states she is very grateful to The Workforce Connection’s (TWC) Elevate Youth Program because she was able to gain valuable knowledge and obtain hands-on experience working directly for a real estate law firm. Jazmine states: “Without this opportunity, it would have been very difficult for me to get this direct training.”
Jazmine worked directly with Attorney Christian Solares and Paralegal Bethany Pederson who both commented on how she was able to quickly learn all the assignments they gave her and how her attention to detail was very precise. Jazmine was able to learn how to prepare affidavits, legal documents, correspondence and work directly with the clients.
Attorney Christian Solares stated: “There definitely is a future for Jazmine here at Midwest Law Works, and we are in the process of making that happen because she is very intelligent and bright, and we would love for her to become a permanent part of our team.”
