Responsible for providing leadership, coordination, supervision and direction of a variety of functions within the Loves Park Community Day Services (CDS)/Adult Learning Program. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Program that provides life skills and employment training services to persons with disabilities; duties include ensuring the orientation and training of new CDS staff, overseeing the development and coordination of class and individual program schedules and work assignments. Additionally, ensures high quality life skill development training and community integration opportunities for persons participating in the program.
The mission of the Community Day Program Dav Services is to ensure that people with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric and other disabilities are visible in society and are recognized as equal citizens.
Bachelor’s degree in human services or Registered Nurse, minimum of two years of administrative and/or clinical experience in the field of disabilities, working knowledge of State regulations and the process of accreditation. Prefer minimum of two years of direct experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. Must have Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) status and Direct Service Personnel (DSP) status.
