Key Responsibilities:

Provide high quality and timely periodic and year-end closing and reporting.
Support the North America President in the effective and efficient running of the entity.
Monitor and control revenue, costs, cash flow, invoicing, tax compliance and financial performance.
Manage budgeting and financial forecasting for the legal entity in co-operation with business stakeholders locally and overseas.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and consistent financial controls and policies for the legal entity in North America.
Maintain contact and a close relation with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and addressing any issues or recommendations.
Monitor and ensure adequate internal controls for ENA entities. Co-operate with Evac Group Finance for control definitions and reporting.
Develop financial and management accounting processes and reporting including related IT systems.
Responsible for ensuring and maintaining correct accounting system setup, including chart of accounts, project structure, cost allocations, sub-ledger setups and associated control accounts.
Take care of tax filings and reporting, as well as provide guidance to other business functions in North America.
Lead, motivate, and mentor people to ensure effective performance across the team, as well as develop skills and knowledge.
To succeed in this position, you should have over 10 years of robust financial management experience, ideally within an international industrial company utilizing IFRS reporting practices. Additionally, we are looking for:

Proven leadership in a cross-functional manufacturing management team.
Experience of submitting accounts as part of a larger Group.
Strong experience in US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
Capability to interpret regulations and contractual requirements and bring the requirements to business procedures.
Preferably you have a good experience in various IT systems, such as ERPs and financial reporting tools.
Effective communicator at all levels of the business and with overseas colleagues.
A dynamic and energetic person who is driven by continuous development attitude but also ready for hands-on work.
Qualifications Required:

Higher degree education in Finance or Accounting.
Preference will be given to candidates with CPA or MBA designation.
The role is based in Cherry Valley, IL office and will report to Vice President, Finance, Evac Business Line who is based in Finland HQ office.
