This positions offers an optional commitment award of $10,000.00 for a 3 year commitment to external candidates.

Summary:  Performs diagnostic ultrasound studies; provides appropriate documentation and patient education functions for inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients.  Effectively communicates with physicians, nursing staff, and central scheduling to provide prompt services.  Provides patient education regarding studies, completes charges for procedures.  Maintains department stock of supplies, provides input into development of ultrasound policies, QA, and equipment selection.

Education: Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasound.  Must be registry eligible.  ARDMS certification preferred.
