Job Summary: The Donor Relations Coordinator (DRC) works closes with the Foundation Director, other staff members as appropriate, and volunteers as appropriate to implement fundraising activities.  The aspects of a comprehensive Fundraising Program which the DRC helps to plan, implement, and evaluate, include, but are not limited to: direct mail; annual board, employee and physician campaigns; special events, grant research and applications, planned giving, communicating with and stewarding donors, social media, and special events. This position also has the primary responsibility for the maintenance of the donor database and assists with maintaining all of the foundation’s fund balances.

This position must provide a strong base of ongoing fiscal support for FHN by generating income from a broad base of donors while working within program budget and setting goals and objectives for fundraising projects and outcome measurement/cost-benefit analysis accordingly. This position is also responsible for receiving, recording, depositing, receipting, and generating thank you notices when donors make gifts.
