SUMMARY:  Collects venous and capillary blood specimens from newborns, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients for diagnostic testing. Assists with clerical functions and data entry. Plates cultures and collects urine drug screens. Provides phlebotomy training and competency assessments for CMA students, LPNs, and RNs as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program. Computer skills. One to two years experience. CPR Certification is required.
