9 Month Program Option:
Staff participating in the 9 Month RN option will be required to work scheduled hours for 9 months per year with 3 unpaid months (12 weeks) off. Requests for the months off will be agreed upon prior to assignment start date.
Must work 72hours per pay period.
Must work every other weekend.
Benefit eligible during 9 month assignment.
Must work a minimum of 2 of the organization’s recognized holidays during the 9 month assignment based on unit need. Holidays will be assigned by the Operational Leader.
Rate based on experience.
SUMMARY: The delivery system practiced at FHN Memorial Hospital employs the concepts of team nursing incorporating the workforce standards as set forth by FHN. Coordinates and provides nursing care to identified patient population. Utilizes team approach for delegation, critical thinking and problem solving skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates competencies in accordance with specific performance standards.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with a BSN preferred; and a minimum of two years of experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. CPR certified.
