Job Summary: The delivery system practiced at FHN Memorial Hospital employs the concepts of differentiated nursing incorporating the work force standards as set forth by FHN. Coordinates and provides nursing care to identified patient population. Delegation, critical thinking and problem solving skills are utilized to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates competencies in accordance with specific performance standards.
Education: Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with a BSN preferred, or graduate from an accredited RN program; and 2 years or greater related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. BLS certification required. Additional Registration: certifications required/preferred based on department/unit.
