RRT-SUMMARY: Coordinates respiratory care to identified patients in designated areas of practice. Utilizes delegation, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to achieve optimal patient
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates degree in Respiratory Care, graduate from an accredited school of respiratory care.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) CPR and ACLS certified.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Experience with PFT lab and Bronchoscopy. Prefer experience with TDP (Therapist Driven Protocols)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of RT students.
CRTT-SUMMARY: Delivers direct respiratory care to identified patients in designated area of practice to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One year certificate from college in RT program; one to two years related experience and/or training is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician CRTT, (NBRC)CPR and ACLS also required. OSHA Class I also required.
