Job Summary: Supports clinical operations and serves as an example for a positive work culture focused on excellent communications and practices that encourage team engagement. Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Sterile Processing Department to ensure high-clinical outcomes to the departments supported by the Sterile Processing Department daily functions. Establishes priorities for timely turnover of instrumentation based on the daily schedule. The positions main focus will be to support established operational practices as they are assigned including time and attendance monitoring, staff performance evaluations, data collection, quality management, and adherence to AAMI Standards by the team. Will support staff with compliance to policy, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, and revise as indicated.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required with certification in sterile processing required. 2-4 years of prior field-related and/or other job-related experience required in sterile processing with leadership experience preferred.
