Registry Program Option:

Staff participating in Registry option must commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per month based on organizational needs

Must work a minimum of 1 weekend per month

Not benefit eligible

Must work a minimum of 1 of the organization’s recognized holidays during the calendar year based on unit need

FHN may cancel a shift with a 2 hour notice for an RN participating in the program; unless otherwise provided, if not given a 2 hour notice, the RN is to be paid a cancellation stipend equivalent to 2 hours of wage.  (The 2 hour cancellation stipend shall not be considered to be “hours worked” for overtime eligibility purposes)
SUMMARY: The delivery system practiced at FHN Memorial Hospital employs the concepts of team nursing incorporating the workforce standards as set forth by FHN. Coordinates and provides nursing care to identified patient population. Utilizes team approach for delegation, critical thinking and problem solving skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates competencies in accordance with specific performance standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with a BSN preferred; and a minimum of 2 years of experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. CPR certified.
