Position Summary:
This position plays a critical role in supporting our finance department. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position will assist in preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and various accounting duties.  This role will also have leadership responsibilities for various AP and AR team members.

Essential Functions:
Commit to FIELD’s Mission Statement, Core Values, and Fieldamentals.
Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis to guide business decisions.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to various AP and AR team members.
Provide training, coaching, and performance management to team members.
Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports for senior management.
Coordinate with external auditors and participate in audit processes.
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline accounting processes and improve financial efficiency.
Interact and collaborate with Field Mexico sites and accounting processes.
Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Review sales and use tax fillings.
Review fixed asset schedules reconciliations.

Education, Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Prior proven leadership skills required.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
