Job description

This position is responsible for the financial planning, analysis, and daily operations of accounting, finance, and payroll. This position is responsible for developing, executing, and leading the financial processes, deriving key analytical insides, and provide trends and actionable recommendations. Immediate interview consideration for qualified applicants.

Provide leadership and direction of finance and accounting functions to other departments.
Manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Create and communicate financial models and analysis of financial and operational metrics to evaluate and direct business performance.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of assets. Manage and balance daily deposits and petty cash.
Maintain annual operation, capital, and cash flow budgeting process to include formal elements of planning, key performance measurements, and operating budgets.
Prepare monthly statements for distribution. Accounts receivables to include rents and fees. Deposit receivables and enter ACH payments. Receive, review, and process invoices.
Process end of year reports, W-2’s, 1099’s, and employee HCC deductions. Prepare tax reports.
Maintain employee database, administer payroll and employee benefits. Oversee current vendor contracts, W-9’s, and certificates of insurance.
Manage and coordinate logistics, schedules, and paperwork for departing residents. Maintain accurate financials of all resident accounts.
Prepare monthly financial statements and annual budgets.
Maintain and update project spreadsheets as they relate to building improvements and repairs.
Collaborate with Human Resources Manager on all employee benefits including but not limited to insurance, 401K, FSA, and open enrollments.
Track and manage employee time-off requests. Track facility expenditures for budget compliance.
Oversee repairs and maintenance of office equipment.
Perform other related duties as directed by the CEO or designated representative.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent is required. A minimum of three to five years’ experience in business, finance, and/or accounting is required. Must have a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in the QuickBooks, Microsoft office package, Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.

A thorough background investigation, including personal and professional references, criminal background, and motor vehicle review will be conducted prior to the offer of employment. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen following a conditional offer of employment.
