Utility Technician

Note: An eligibility list will be established for this posting. The list will be in effect for six (6)

NATURE OF WORK
Serves the public by actively participating in the repairing of defects, in large and small sewer pipe and
manholes, and to improve the overall health and efficiency of Four Rivers Collection Systems.
Participates in the restoration of all job sites.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under immediate supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty in a variety of sewer location,
installation, and maintenance tasks which require unskilled to semi-skilled labor; operates a variety of
vehicles and light equipment; assist operations and maintenance staff in their work; performs other duties
as assigned by Management.
