Insulation Technician

Greenlink Energy Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced weatherization technician to join our building envelope team. This team is responsible for performing insulation, air sealing, and ventilation upgrades. Greenlink combines building efficiency technologies with solar energy and next-gen HVAC to increase the health, comfort, and efficiency of our customers’ properties. Our ideal candidate has a strong construction and/or remodeling background and familiarity with building science. Qualifications:

5+ years experience with construction and/or remodeling
Skill sets in one or more of the following:
Carpentry
Remodeling
Electrical
Plumbing
Drywall installation and finishing
Framing
Roofing
Ventilation/HVAC
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Comfortable using technology
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have a working cell phone
Knowledge and Abilities:

Organized with strong attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of construction-related activities
Proficiency in operating tools and equipment used to weatherize buildings
Ability to foster a positive team environment
Ability to interpret scopes of work and other construction documents

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Strength, dexterity, and stamina needed to perform physical tasks
Responsibilities:

Working with residential, commercial, and agricultural clients, our building envelope team performs a variety of upgrades to weatherize and increase the efficiency of our customer’s properties. Some of your responsibilities will include:

Installing various forms of insulation, air sealing, and upgrading ventilation
Interfacing with property owners
Reading and understanding scopes of work
Maintaining equipment and work vehicles
Performing a variety of remodeling-related tasks such as drywall fixes, electrical work, carpentry, and more

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
