Greenlink is seeking an experienced Solar Technician to join our dynamic team of solar system installers. In this role, you will play a vital part in assembling, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, both roof and ground mount, while adhering to site assessment, city/township regulations, and schematics. Your responsibilities will encompass various labor activities such as measuring, cutting, assembling, bolting structural framing, installing solar modules, and performing minor electrical work. Previous experience in solar PV installation and maintenance is required.

Qualifications
Valid driver’s license, required
NABCEP certification, required
5+ years experience as a solar installer
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and Abilities
Proficiency in using a variety of electrical, power, and hand tools, including wire strippers, voltmeters, wrenches, hammers, and reading tape measures.
Ability to interpret and work with electrical drawings and blueprints effectively.
Competence in performing general electrical work associated with construction, home improvement, and energy efficiency projects.
Familiarity with materials, methods, and tools utilized in basic construction and building material repairs.
Strong organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, with a track record of fostering a positive team environment through collaborative decision-making.
Effective time management skills, with a focus on maintaining high productivity levels.
Ability to perform tasks that require squatting, crawling, kneeling on various surfaces, and twisting as necessary.
Adaptability to handle inclement weather conditions while maintaining work efficiency and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Install solar energy systems, including wiring, racking, and panels.
Perform electrical wiring, conduit work, and panel installations according to industry standards and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
Review system designs/layouts, ensuring compliance with approved plans and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the installation process, applying problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
Maintain clean and organized vehicles, trailers, and toolboxes used to complete installations.
Complete installation reports accurately and promptly.
Communicate with customers regarding project timelines, progress updates, and system operation instructions.
Adhere to company processes and safety regulations throughout the installation process.
Communicate effectively with the Solar Field Manager and the Inventory and Procurement Manager to ensure the availability of materials and equipment needed for projects.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
