and fuel tanks. We are in search of Bender Operators, who will be located at one of our Machesney

Summary: The Bender Operator role is an active and fast-paced role that supports the company’s
quality policies and objectives. This role will efficiently produce parts to specification ensuring
customer satisfaction, while reducing costs of re-work, scrap, and returned products. In fact, we’ll
keep things exciting and boost your development through on-the-job training. You’ll keep busy in a
fast-paced production environment while expanding your knowledge through on-the-job training- all
as you contribute towards crafting quality products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for both machines set up and operation of Bending Machine
• Changing tooling, computer skills, uploading jobs into machine interface, first piece
inspection, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance
• Ability to read computerized blueprints and drawings
• Ability to perform precision forming, bending and folding
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and
tape measure
• Must be able to add and subtract
• Able to bend on a variety of metals, galvanized, Steel, Aluminum and Stainless
• Maintain departmental 5S housekeeping standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma/GED required
• Training: On the job as needed
• Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English
• Experience: 1-3 years trade training/experience as Bender/Operator
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Skills: Sheet metal capabilities preferred. Possess ability to interpret documents, blueprints,
bill of materials operating safety manuals, work instructions, possess mechanical aptitude
and the ability to perform basic calculations to operate bending machines.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic measuring/mechanical skills pertaining to fulfill job duties
• Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and
background check
• Must be able to read and understand English
• Experience operating Forklift and Overhead Cranes a plus (willing to train).
