Ideal Candidate: Someone with a passion for improving quality-of-life in our neighborhoods with a background in housing, real estate, community development, and economic development and/or government. The position will be responsible for maintaining records reported to local, state and federal agencies, which requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Graphic design skills a plus.
Minimum Required Qualifications: Associates degree and two years or more of relative working experience in government, non-profit, real estate, or similar. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting community development staff in executing a number of exciting projects throughout the region. Projects include housing redevelopment, implementation of grant-funded programs, and assisting with redevelopment and other projects. Duties will also include customer service, cash handling, and a combination of independent and team work.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, working on-site in our downtown Rockford, Illinois office. Pay commensurate with experience.
