Responsibilities:

Operate our Signature Premier Gluer Machine efficiently and effectively to meet production goals and deadlines.

Conduct thorough inspections of the machine before and after each use to ensure proper functionality and identify any potential issues.

· Set up the gluer machine according to job specifications, including adjusting settings for speed, glue application, and alignment.

· Monitor the gluing process closely, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and consistency.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the gluer machine in a timely manner to minimize downtime and production delays.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks on the machine, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance.

· Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maximize efficiency in the production process.

· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when operating the gluer machine to maintain a safe work environment.

· Keep detailed records of production output, machine settings, and any maintenance or repairs performed on the gluer machine.

· Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to report progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Comprehensive knowledge of machinability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors to identify paper conditions requiring additional machine adjustment, and ability to read and interpret written work indicating the sequence of machine operations.

· Skill in using a full range of standard and specialized tools to adjust and maintain the functional accuracy of the folder/gluer, including making difficult adjustments to powered machines using hand tools.

· Proficiency in operating complicated equipment such as folder/gluing machines, with previous experience operating similar equipment in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, coupled with familiarity in setting up and adjusting machine settings for optimal performance.

· Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on the machine, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, while maintaining attention to detail and producing high-quality work.

.Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, with punctuality, reliability, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Physical ability to lift and move materials, perform repetitive tasks, and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
