The Director of Client Services is a pivotal leadership role within Savant Wealth Management. This position is responsible for providing strategic oversight and innovative leadership to the client services team, which includes client service assistants and front desk teams. The Director will embody and promote Savant’s core philosophies and values, ensuring a client-first approach at the highest level. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a positive and inspiring leadership style, change management skills, and must be able to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategically oversee the operations of the client services team to ensure seamless, efficient processes, policy enforcement, and staff training.
Develop and implement best practices to enhance workflows, productivity, and client service, while minimizing operational risks.
Collaborate with leadership teams across various functions to develop a comprehensive, integrated client service strategy that aligns with Savant’s corporate objectives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, practices, and procedures to ensure the team’s adherence and competence.
Lead and mentor client services team, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and client-centricity.
Oversee client communication strategies, ensuring clients are well-informed and engaged with Savant.
Regular communication and alignment with the Chief Advisory Officer and other key leadership team members.
Continuously assess and plan for the team’s capacity, growth, and development needs.
Address and resolve internal and external concerns promptly and effectively.
 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 

Lead and align team performance with organizational goals.
Hire, develop and supervise staff, including performance management, training, and career development.
Oversee subordinate managers and team leaders, ensuring high standards and efficient team operation.
Qualifications
The Director of Client Services requires the following:

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. FPQP designation preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant and proven industry and client service experience, including management/leadership responsibilities.
Strong Leadership and People Development Skills: Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving organizational objectives, while fostering a positive work environment.
Excellent Analytical, Organizational, and Strategic Thinking Abilities: Demonstrated capability to analyze complex situations, develop effective strategies, and organize resources to implement solutions.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Proficient in articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. Skilled in active listening, persuasive communication, and adept at tailoring messages to different audiences, including clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
High Standards for Performance and Integrity: Committed to achieving excellence with a strong sense of ethical conduct and professionalism.
Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments, and overcome challenges with a positive attitude. Lead teams through change management.
