QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree, Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant, preferred

Job Description

Position: School Health Assistant

Reports to: Building Principal/School Nurse/School Health Coordinator

Qualifications: Associates Degree, Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred

Terms of Employment: Grant Funded – Competitive salary

Basic Function: Assist building administration and nurses with COVID-19 related tasks

Performance Responsibilities and Duties:

Monitor the IL State health requirements, CDC requirements and ensure D100 compliance in all health care related concerns.
Assist the building administrative team and school nurse with testing, contact tracing, notifying families, and quarantine data entry.
Assist the School Health Coordinator by following up with families of students on quarantine as necessary.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
