Duties:
Evaluate opportunities for reductions in manufacturing cost.
Develop solutions to engineering and manufacturing problems.
Evaluate planning activities related to plant layouts and production facilities.
Develop tooling and/or fixtures for new and existing products and processes.
Evaluate capital investments and cost justifications and manage the overall implementation.
Identify and implement solutions relating to safety, quality, productivity and costs.
Conduct studies that determine efficient sequence of operations and utilization of production facilities.
Refine processes by applying continuous improvement principles and techniques to areas of production.
Show ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form with employees, suppliers and customers.
Develop environmental sustainability practices and disaster preparedness.
Lead the expectations regarding behavior, integrity and ethics.
