Dishwasher (Part-Time) – Wesley Willows Campus

Summary:

Cleans dishes, utensils, food preparation equipment, and kitchen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintains a friendly, efficient, respectable attitude towards customers, co-workers, residents and visitors.
Cleans all equipment and surfaces according to departmental procedures and schedules.
Prepares dish room and dish machine prior to use. Loads and unloads machine following established procedures.
Logs dish machine temperatures. Ensures dish machine temperatures are in compliance with standards and notifies supervisor of any deviations.
Thoroughly scraps, soaks, washes and sanitizes pots and pans.
Transports supplies and equipment between storage areas and work areas through use of carts.
Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Adheres to all departmental safety and sanitation procedures. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations to provide for a safe environment.
Performs all other related duties as required.
Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials:

High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to apply elementary math calculations.
Ability to understand and follow direction and requests for assistance.
Ability to work cooperatively in a kitchen environment.
Must be 18 years of age or older to operate potentially hazardous equipment.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk during 6 to 8 hour shifts.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pound and place on high and low shelves in storerooms.
Ability to frequently push carts with dishes and supplies up to 60 pounds to storerooms.
Environmental Conditions:

Hazard include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, metal cans, scalds and burns,
slipping and tripping.
Frequently immerses hands in water.
Works frequently in hot and damp environment.
Other federally regulated requirements:

Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records.
Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine, and TB testing.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening.
Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.
