The Specialist – Digital Communications position supports population health in Winnebago County by developing digital education and communication materials including short clip videos on public health concerns and Winnebago County Health Department’s (WCHD) services. The Specialist – Digital Communications will work with the Director of Communications to disseminate information to partners and the public through official WCHD communication channels. Distribution channels include both printed and digital media including WCHD’s website and social media sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The position will also coordinate WCHD’s communications technology needs including digital meeting space and digital signage that help promote WCHD services and public health initiatives. This position will support community relations through interactions with the public both in social media, digital media, and through more traditional media such as email.
Associate’s Degree in Art or Applied Science with a focus on graphic communications technology or mass communications.
