The Workforce Connection’s Latrese Luton was honored by the Rockford Family Peace Center with their Partner of the Month Award.
“At the FPC, we are fortunate to work with amazing partners from the community that are dedicated to advocating for survivors. Many of the survivors we serve experience barriers related to employment, and we rely on the collaboration we have built with local employment resources. We are very grateful to work with Latrese from the Workforce Connection, and we are pleased to share that she is our December Partner of the Month!
Latrese is a Community Resource Navigator, and she is often our point of contact when referring survivors to TWC. Survivors can receive assistance with creating resumes, receiving job training, clothing needed for employment, childcare resources, and getting connected to local employers.
