Skills Based hiring, promotion, and retention practices have become a way for companies to expand and enhance their talent pool. These practices are particularly compelling for our region, where we have a relatively low percentage of college educated adults (14.9% of adults have a bachelor’s degree or higher; 5.6% below the national average).
