What is the The Workforce Connection System?
The Workforce Connection system is the regional workforce system serving Boone, Stephenson, and Winnebago counties. Our system is made up of partnerships with regional stakeholders, training providers, educational entities, state and federal departments, board members and Chief Elected Officials.
These partnerships help foster the necessities in our tri-county area and ensure that both career seekers and employers are receiving the assistance they need to ensure success. Our workforce system is benefited by these partnerships to ensure that each person and business in our community knows to connect with our One-Stop Career Centers.
The Workforce Connection One-Stop Career Centers are located at 303 N. Main Street (the SupplyCore Building) in Rockford, at 530 S. State Street in Belvidere, and 307 W. Main Street in Freeport. The main number is (815) 847-7574 and you can also get connected by emailing email@example.com.
