Frank Rotello of Alpha Controls & Services LLC has served on The Workforce Connection (TWC) Board since July of 2012 and is currently our Immediate Past Chair. In addition to Frank’s service to our Board, Alpha Controls has been a consistent contributing sponsor.
Frank’s impressive career began with Barber-Colman Company/Invensys Building Systems. In 2003, Frank partnered with Brent Bernardi to purchase the Rockford and Springfield, Illinois branch offices from Invensys Building Systems, which was the start of Alpha Controls & Services. Frank was able to apply his knowledge and experience to allow Alpha Controls & Services to become a leader in Illinois’ HVAC controls marketplace.
Throughout Frank’s career in the HVAC Controls marketplace, Frank has been involved in industry organizations locally, regionally and nationally (President of InsideIQ Building Automation Alliance 2013-14). Frank also led the efforts to establish the Rockford Northern Illinois Branch of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Illinois Chapter.
Frank has been very busy the past few years…partnering with Brent Bernardi to write the book More Than a Mission Statement: How to Enhance Culture to Create Quality Growth, The book was published in September of 2023, is available in hardcover and on-line, and has a 5-Star rating on Amazon.
The cornerstone of Frank and Brent’s success was the strong company culture established from the beginning. In More Than a Mission Statement, Frank and Brent share the story of their success and show how others can achieve the same.
