Congratulations to Jackie for receiving the High Impact Award for her outstanding work at The Workforce Connection (TWC) and her significant contributions to the community! This recognition from Rock Valley College at their Ebony Breakfast is a testament to Jackie’s dedication and effectiveness in her role.
Outside of her work here at TWC, Jackie enjoys singing in her church choir and performing with the Reader’s Theater Group led by former RPS205 music teacher and local artist, Dorothy Page-Turner. The group performs choral readings and presents scenes and poetry written by African American artists. Performances are held at the Inscape Collective Community Room in Rockford.
Jackie also holds an interest in mental health and trauma awareness and attends training whenever the opportunity arises. Her certifications in Adult Mental Health First Aid and as a Certified Workforce Development Professional underscore her commitment to continuous learning and professional development, enabling her to better support the customers she works with.
Jackie’s dedication and ongoing pursuit of knowledge make her a valuable asset to the team at TWC. Congratulations once again to Jackie on this well-deserved recognition!
