The Workforce Connection Welcomes 11 New Board Members
Rockford, IL – The Workforce Connection (TWC) announces its appointment of eleven new board members. New board members bring a regional understanding of the workforce and will help set priorities and develop innovative strategic planning. These new members will serve a term of three years.

TWC’s Board of Directors and Chief Elected Officials are made up of regional employers, educational institutions, economic development experts, public partners, and publicly elected officials: which guides the efforts of the organization and system. “The Workforce Connection Board represents a wide cross-section of our region’s leaders in business, education, and not-for-profit organizations. The newest members to our Board have track records of success in their industries and pledge to help craft innovative solutions for workforce needs. They join the rest of our Board with a commitment to supporting The Workforce Connection’s mission of providing a workforce that meets the needs of the business community now and in the future” said Gina Caronna, Executive Director, The Workforce Connection.

These successful and visionary leaders will help strengthen The Workforce Connection’s commitment to provide a fully integrated and accessible workforce development system in our region” explained Board Chair Michelle Cassaro, Chief Financial Officer, Chicago Rockford International Airport.
